This policy describes what information Tag Verify LLC ("Tag Verify," "we," "us") collects when you use tagverifyapp.com and our label- generation service, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address and password (stored securely, hashed, by our authentication provider — we never see or store your password in plain text).
  • Billing information: handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Tag Verify never receives or stores your card number — only a subscription status and plan tier.
  • Grower profile and label data: the farm, commodity, variety, origin, lot, pack date, and retailer information you enter to generate a label. This is business/shipment data, not personal data about you, except where you choose to enter a person's name in a shipper/receiver reference field.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the service: to generate your labels, to maintain your label history, to process your subscription, and to respond if you contact support. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers below, each of which processes it only to help us run Tag Verify.

Who we share it with

  • Supabase — our database and authentication provider, which stores your account and label data.
  • Vercel — our hosting provider, which serves the application.
  • Stripe — our payment processor, which handles billing and never shares your full card number with us.

Each of these providers is contractually and technically restricted to using your data only to provide their service to Tag Verify.

Cookies

Tag Verify uses only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and label data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, contact us at support@tagverifyapp.com to request deletion of your data, and we will remove it except where we're required to keep records for a limited time (for example, billing records required by tax law).

Your choices

You can access, correct, export, or request deletion of your account and label data at any time by contacting us. Grower profiles can also be exported directly from your dashboard.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
